Help! In Need of Shoes To Match This Dress!

This is the Amanda Wakeley dress I've got for prom (which is a week away!) except in black and I was hopin u girls could help me out with shoes!

I went out and bought similar shoes to those in the picture but for some reason, they just don't look as nice on me; too pointy i guess, I dunno. But can anyone suggest another type of dressy pair of shoes to wear (just an idea of what type of shoes would be great help! =) ) that won't look awkward seeing as the dress isn't down to the floor, nor upto my ankles; weird kinda length, almost looks too short or too long! lol thanx!

Maybe try some black strappy sandles? With some kind of deco. on the toes, so it might bring attention to your toes instead of the akward cut?

Thanx; I think strappy sandals it is then coz i'm not left with much choice or time now! =\

And thanx Kiki; the dress is nice but its not as comfortable as it looks! Especially with the hot weather here now. Also thanx for the website, the shoes on there are gorgeous but unfortunately, I live in England! (Yup, the weather is actually gettin a little hotter here! =D tho right now it's rainin lol) so I'll have to pass on those shops too but thank u anyway!

i agree with kiki nordstrums is having a big sale right now on everything including shoes.
the dress is so beautiful. you have good taste. now it's just finding the right shoes. i don't think white shoes would look bad at all. with a sling back hell. or rather open toes heels. that would look good.

Thanx! Was a bit skeptical about the dress at first, thought maybe it was a little too dressy, it was in the Bridal section at Amanda Wakeley!

But the more I looked at it, the more i fell in love lol one little problem; the gorgeous train at the back; little impractical when dancin but I suppose I'm jus gonna have to hold that up!

My accessories are all silver and diamonds, tried both silver and white shoes, didn't really like =\ Gosh I'm so fussy! I should start bringin the dress with me to shoe shops so I could see how they look together!

And some of the shoes on Nordstroms are adorable but unfortunately unattainable for me; I live in England! Gosh the dresses on the American websites are so0o0 gorgeous too, not fair! =(
