Semi...Help!

Hey ladies..
I'm going to my friend's semi on April 22nd and I really want my hair and make-up done but I'm not loaded, so I don't have much to spend on it. I live near Toronto and was wondering if anyone knew of a place where they do make-up a bit cheaper than usual. I know MAC is quite expensive but is it true that if you buy 30$ worth of items, you get a free makeover?? Still a bit expensive, but I can live with something just under that, I guess if I'm in for the items too haha...I was just wondering, I'm kind of hopeless... :confused:

well you can do it by getting a make over which they will do a very good job on you. 30 bucks can get you a couple eyeshadows adn lipgloss. it's a good investment.
on the other hand there is the make up sold in drugstores. some of this make up is fine but it's the approach taht matters. like i don't wear cover up or concelar. soem women do. so you may find you want it or something else from the make up artst where as you go to the store and you don't know what to buy. i have been down that road before.
