foods that are rich in sodium and surgar. those 2 things a lone are bad. eating fresh fruit and vegies have really helped me lose weight with my exericise regimen.
30 mins of aeorbic exercise following some light weights and lots of sit ups.
i cycle 12-16miles a day for about 45 mins 4 days a week. i also swim 3 days a week about 10-15 laps in the pool. so just doing this alone has helped me greatly. also staying away from fatty foods such as chips and ice cream. lol
but drinking plenty of water everyday helps increase the metabolism as well. i have lost 17lbs in 7 weeks. i have 17 to go. so i will say also to measure your waist, bust, and hips daily. on the scale it may say i have't lost anything but i may have lost an inch in my stomach.
with all this in mind i wish you the bes of luck. find an exercise you enjoy doing and stick with it. :)

good luck debbie! The weight creeped up on me this year and I seem to have no motivation because I am discouraged. What is keeping you motivated?

first i used to always be thin until the dr's put me on hormones that didn't work on me but make me gain weight so i got off them.
i never had a weight problem until this past year. i watch what i eat and i exercise almost everyday. lol
i see those size 5's i want to fit into them again. that's what motivates me. i look at pictures of how i used to look and i want to look that that way again. :)
i am a motivating person to begin with. i will not stop until i succeed. it's all in the mind. i feel so much better after i exercise too. i feel very relaxed and yet exhilerated. you just have to find the perfect match for you.
i used to cycle all the time, that's always been my thing. cycling. i used to train was i was 14.
another reason is i want to join a cyclist's club. so i have to be able to sustain 20 miles on my bike. i am getting closer to that mark. once that is done i will get a better bike. lol
i will need a speed bike right now i use a mountain bike. makes it so much harder to get a good work out though. :)
hope this helps.
ps. i get so upset when i see pics of what i looked like to what i look like now. i get so upset. that motivates me too. i envision how i looked when i cycle no matter how much pain i am in. your bum hurts after a while. lol
but there are so many exericses you can do.
schedule your days of "work out" time. and do just do it. do this for 21 days and you will feel like crap if you don't exericise. lol
goodluck

Hi Sebrunn! Are you looking for foods that are "thermic"? Thermic foods use up to 30% of it's own energy in order to be digested and processed. Please refer to this (http://www.makeup411.net/showthread.php?t=687&highlight=thermic) post to see more information. I hope it helps.
