Yeah..I did Slimfast after I had my 1st child. I lost like 45 lbs on that stuff and stayed that way for about 5 minutes..Once I started eating real food, it was like POOF! there it is! It's a quick fix and that was it. I'll take eating healthy food over that shake any day.

I used it and lost about 30 lbs. I did a combination of Slim Fast, eating right and lots of exercise, the later two which you already do. I didn't follow the 2 shakes a day regime to the letter, but I was smart about everything. Since then I've stopped using the plan, but once in a while I'll have a shake or bar for convenience. I think the important thing to do after you've lost the weight is maintain a good diet. Like any diet plan, you can't go back to the way you were before you started (although you already have a good diet, Debbie), if you did not have a healthy lifestyle beforehand.

I think that cutting out sugar and starches is the best thing to do. Slim fast gives you a sugar rush and then after it drops, leaves you hungry. I have alot of info on low carb if you are interested at all. this link is very useful :

I would NEVER[U] advise anyone to use slimfast! The best way to lose weight is to do it by getting the proper nutrition, exercise & a change in lifestyle. That's why so many "diets" these days fail - fail to either lose the weight or keep it off. If you look into the ingredients in slimfast and do your own research, you'll find that Slimfast has an extreme amount of preservatives in it. Anything in a liquified form in a can has to have many preservatives in it for it to stay "good" for an extended period of time. So, while you won't have to be embalmed when you die someday if you continue taking Slimfast, you don't learn the truth about healthy weight loss or a healthy way of living.
Healthy eating habits & weight loss include the 65 vitamins & nutrients that the body needs daily, your individual protein needs, a healthy decrease caloric & carbohydrate intake and exercise consisting of a cardio-routine and toning exercises. Stay away - FAR AWAY - from the canned drinks and pre-made foods (ex. slimfast) that are targeted for consumers convenience but geared for their own profits. They don't care if you lose weight or not - they've made their money. If nothing else, they have a smart marketing department. They spend millions of dollars to promote the product - people buy it. The end result is usually the same. People may lose weight. But do they ever really learn how to eat properly after the weight is lost? NO! So, you basically are a life-long customer of Slimfast. Because they don't care! They just want your money. And it's an unhealthy way to lose the weight! End of story! ! ! If you're serious about losing weight and maintain it - guaranteed... Let me know. I've seen anything from a few extra pounds to a couple hundred - NO tummy tucks involved when you do it the right way - Cellular Nutrition! ! ! It's the only right way to lose weight and increase your health status!

I didn't know it but it's a byproduct of wood products and my company sells them the cellulose (or they USED to) that they put in it. I've never been able to look at a can of it since I found that out. LOL
