That's my daily foundation. Sheer to medium coverage, natural finish, oil free and has and SPF of 15. Love it!!!
For summer time, I actually wear the same shadows as I eould in any season...just different colours. A good shadow should have good pigmentation, easy to apply, stays on and don't crease all year round...and I found all that in Stila, Armani adn Chanel (especially their liquid shadows). I don't even use any special base, just my regular foundation. However, if you're very oily, you might need one.

Talk about LOVE!!! Nothing compares. Pretty satin finish, sunscreen included. There is a great range of colors too. I've been using it a little over a week but I can assure you I will pruchase it over and over again.
I have *heard* that Sonia Kashuk is pretty good for a drug store choice.
Shadow base is a must for me any time of the year. MAC paints are the most bang for your buck IMO.
My mood changes every season, every year. Generally I like to play with a lot of soft, crisp colors in the spring time: purples w/lavender, olive/lime/brighter greens. Pale peaches and warm pinks on the lips.
In the the summer, I tend to throw bronze into everything from lips to eyes to cheeks: olive/gold on eyes is my favorite, bronze w/ a warm golden pink. For lips, either nude or bright corals.
Those are just a few combos that work for me. Of course, I have red hair and glow in the dark skin. :p
