humm well I guess they charge a lot beacause of the quality of the stone. and it's gauranteed for life. I got a 2 carat stud in white gold for about 200. you should just go to the jewellery stores around you, the independent ones not Tiffany's or anythng like that, and you should check out the collection there. you can't tell if it's real or not if it's cut properly and set well in the ring. you should really check out the jewellery stores around you and just see what you can find.

yeah that's what I meant... usually when you hear "jewellery store" you think of the big name stores... but it's the independent ones that you can work out a deal for and you'd probably find what you're looking for cuz there;s a lot of variety

yeah, but tiffany doesn't sell fake diamonds! my uncle is a buyer- he doesn't sell fake diamonds....

If your uncle is a buyer I'm sure he knows tons about all kinds of diamonds and man made diamonds why not start by asking him I'm sure he could be a great help...
