Im in fairly good shape and im quite active, i have cheer practice twice a week, and i work out on my own at least 3-4 times a week, but i feel like what i eat holds me back from my best results. my mom used to do weight watchers, so i took some of her point sheets, the ones that keep track of how many breads or proteins you consume in a day. ive done it for two days so far, and i find it to be ok, im just wondering if anyone has been on the same system and if it really helped them at all. thanks! :D Penny

I did the on-line version since my schedule was so hectic. Did go to one live meeting, but there's only so much you can take of people grousing that they've run out of points before they've run out of day and they tend to go to bed early due to point exhaustion.

That being said, I did lose weight on it; however, I finally got tired of eating the same foods over and over because I knew how many points were in them and it was hard to maintain my social life with it.

But hey, if you like it, go for it! It really works for some people and they've been on it for years.

I did have a major gripe with the on-line program at the time, and that is that you couldn't buy the products on-line. They wouldn't sell them to you at the local WW either at times unless you were a member of their group. They may have changed that though.

I'm thinking about it once I go back to Canada (I think the dietary point systems would be impossible to apply to Korean food. How many points do you give to tofu soup made with fermented bean paste? lol). The reason I want to try it is that a friend of mine has had great success with it. She was very overweight, obese I guess, and I hadn't seen her in about 5 months I think, and she had lost 39 pounds! She looked great, and said the program had worked really well for her. I've lost weight through exercise before (I lost about 25 pounds) but I seriously screwed up my knee and ankle and can't really exercise much anymore, so the weight is coming back. I need to start looking more at my diet to help me control my weight. Anyways, if you do try it I'll be interested to hear what you think!

for almost a year. i lost about 16 ibs i think. its a really good program and teaches awsom portion controll. but like everyprogram its not right for everyone. i know that my step mom hates the program and thinks its unhealthy and obsessive to track down everything you eat. i think its helpful to see where you are taking too much food in or not eating enough of certain things. its sometimes hard to stick with but its the best diet i have ever tried. because u can eat whatever you want! just keep in mind that if you had a slice of cheesecake during the day, you should try and cut down your other calories by eating non-greasy and non-fattening foods like a hearty soup until the next day. i really like it. and im 17 and sticking with it so obviously its not taht hard.
