What length shorts do you wear in the summer?

Of course, as the years go by, I find my shorts getting longer and longer. In fact, I think you could almost call them capri pants. :)

I never wear shorts, I can't stand them. I hate how they ride up when I walk, and cut me off at the widest part of my leg, and the cuff around each leg just shouts "this is exactly how big each of my thighs is!"

I'd rather wear a flirty little skirt, just skimming the top of the knee.

i wear shorts that are just above finger tip length. I'm 23 and most of the shorts I find in the stores I like are wayyyyyyyyy too short for me. I don't like having a fear of bending over and my butt hanging out.

Probably 2 inches below my butt, don't really know how to describe. Regular short length, I guess..

I don't really wear shorts, because I don't like the way they look (most of them anyway ;) ). I'm more of a skirt-girl, but if I do wear shorts, the're about hotpants-length.

I hate my inner thighs, so the shorter shorts tend to display them too much! I would rather have a cute short skirt or I will sometimes wear board shorts which are short, but not as tight-fitting, so they look good. I'm always on the look-out for the elusive, very hard to find, shorts that look good!

depending on the activity. if we go out to a nice place i wear a mini skirt. if we are hanging out at the mall i wear shorts. they are pretty short. the best features i have are my legs and eyes so i show them off. lol

I'm like you. Since I'm old I really dont like wearing shorts either so I find myself wearing skirts instead. If I do wear shorts, I dont go out of the house. :confused:

your such a free spririt. who cares what others think. if you wear shorts go anywhere with them. don't feel bad, feel good.
i bet you look better in them than you think. we are all so critical when it comes to how we look.

considering that I have such short legs, bermudas look awful on me. But, considering my thighs, short shorts don't look great either. So I generally get the 5-7" inseams on my shorts. Thanks to work and school dress codes I have had most of my life, I'm used to "fingertip length" shorts. If I put my hands down by my sides and my shorts are at or longer than the tips of my fingers, I wear them. It's a good way to measure for me! I used to not wear shorts because I used to have stretch marks on the backs of my knees, but wearing jeans became just way too torturous in the summertime!
