Do you try on most of the clothes you buy or do you just buy them and return them if they don't fit? :)

most clothes i try on fit and i buy them.
however there was this one shirt i liked but i felt it didn't like me. that day i had tried on several shirts everything was going smooth when suddenly i got stuck in one of those contraption shirts. my arms where up in the air all crooked. the girl had to come in the room and help me out of this mess. she showed me properly how it went on. duh!
well as we are paying for all these new clothes my back starts to burn before i know it i can barely walk. we had to go right to the dr's. i pulled my back out trying on that shirt that did that to me. i was hurting bad.
so i went to the dr and they all laughed when i told them what happend. i mean honestly. it is funny but at a painful expense. i had to be in bed for a week. i was hurt so bad. i wore that shirt 2 weeks later. no problem. lol
so i guess the shirt and i compromised.lol

I've pinched a nerve trying on a shirt. It was a very odd thing. Put my arm through the sleeve and BANG! Pain shot down the arm and it hurt for about a week. My boss made fun of me when I told him.

I usually try them on first, cause the look on your own body is usually different from how it looks on the hanger, unless it's basic stuff like T shirts etc. I usually buy them from the same stores, so I pretty much know my size.

I don't go shopping much. Most of the clothes I have were x-mas gifts or are at least 2 years old. I can't even remember the last time I went out and bought myself a new shirt... had to have been about a year ago at least but when I do go shopping I try stuff on I hate returning things because I worked in retail and in customer service for years and I know how much of a pain some returns can be.

I try them on first then I buy it. Usuaully I don't try on just casual shirts but if they are more complicated I will try them on. The thing I have the most problem with are bottoms. They never fit right lol. When they fit my waist the legs will be WAAAAY too big. when they fit the leg nicely the waist is way too tiny. lol.

I just look at them and buy them..Especially if they are not form fitting but loose. If they are form-fitting/tailored, I will try them on so I can save myself a trip to return them!

I used to not try stuff on so much as I always knew what size I was with each designer. Now I have boobs, so I have to try everything on! With basic stuff like Banana Republic & GAP tanks I know I am still an XS but I still try them on because I never know if one of the girls is going to pop out the side or something.

I used to never try anything on. I would just hold the item in the air and look at it and just know. But a few weeks ago, I was in the store and was deciding between 3 skirts and decided to try them on to see. It was awesome! I ended up picking the one that looked just ok on the hanger, but looked awesome on.

I ALWAYS try clothes on before I buy them. I have to! I don't like wasting time with exchanging, and I'd hate to be disappointed if a really cool top didn't look good on me after I'd bought it. Better to find it out in the store and find something else. :)

I cant stand it......trying on cloths......in those crampy little rooms with stuff everywhere and it always smells like a poorly kept living room in a smoker's house...yech......

Okay...I need some serious help now........I cant decide WHAT I like.....i am so inundated with clothing try ons...how do u decide which item to buy? Is it really a good idea to go have a coffee and think aboiut and then go back? There is so much variety in a clothing spree......how does one decide. Ladies, any tips on how you make the final decision?
